You’ve browsed the page. Lots of you check out my leading posts — “Products under $10” and “How do I get paid?”. And you’re not alone. 70% of people would love to own their own business, but they don’t know how to do it. Buying a franchise is freaking expensive. 90% of restaurants fail in their first year of operation. You’re worried about all the legal things that can bite you in the butt. If you had the cash to start a business, you wouldn’t need to start the business. Am I hitting any of your hot buttons?

Here’s the thing. Network Marketing. It has a proven product and system. It’s legal. You can do as much or as little as you want. (The fact that 90% of the people don’t make a living at it only says that those people are likely just in it to buy products at wholesale prices, and that’s perfectly legit.)

Maybe in the past, you’ve heard less than desirable things about network marketing, or multi-level-marketing (MLM) or direct selling. Yes, there are some unscrupulous people in the business. Maybe they were untrained and didn’t know how to behave in an ethical manner. By and large, those people and those companies are not around anymore. But that is a factor to be concerned about when choosing your company and who you decide to go into business with. Face it, when you’re deciding to go into business, you want a company with sound ethics and people who represent them well. Your reputation is at stake.

That said, because of some past bad behaviors from some people and companies, network marketing is not viewed in the most positive light by some of your friends and family, so, should you decide to embark on an entrepreneurial career in network marketing, you may expect some people to not be impressed. If that’s a problem for you, it is possible network marketing might not be for you. But consider carefully, because the surprising thing is entrepreneurial network marketing is more secure than being an employee. It does require a mindset shift from what you were taught in school.

I’m going to be using scripts and some basic props to share about a tremendous wellness company and their products and what this means to you.
