This site collects information on you in two ways:

1. The information that you manually provide us by filling out our contact form, making a comment on a post, or signing up for one of our email lists. This information can be tied directly to you because of the information you’ve provided.

2. The information that’s automatically collected via our third-party partners: MailerLite, WordPress, or Wordfence. The types of information collected here include things like your general location, what pages you visit, your IP address, date and time of visit, and the type of browser you visit from. Generally, our third-party partners only give us this information in the aggregate (e.g. it’s not identifiable to you) but sometimes this information can be directly tied to you in the case of which emails you open and click on.

We do our best to protect your sensitive personal information. We collect this information so we can better serve you by creating content and products that you love. The information collected is only shared with others when you share it. In the case of posting comments — the comment and the name you provide is visible to other visitors. If you provide a website URL, that is also visible. Your email address is never made public unless you include it in your comment.  Should we decide to delete the post the comment is attached to, your comment will also be deleted. If your comment is compliant with our posted site comments policy, it could remain viewable indefinitely. If your comment is deemed spam or not in compliance with our site comment policy, it could be deleted at any time.
