Rose
This post is going live on Valentine’s Day, so I wanted an oil that would fit the day. The price of roses has become much more reasonable in recent years; however, Rose Essential Oil is Young Living’s most expensive oil. I’m not going to mention it here, because it will scare you (it still scares me after almost two years). It comes in a 5 ml bottle. While the price of a pure bottle is scary, Rose is a component in many blends and products at Young Living, so you can achieve its benefits without having to pay the price of the single oil. (I’m not trying to discourage you. The story of the distilling of rose oil is fascinating. Check it out sometime.)
Rose (Rosa damascena) has a beautiful, strong floral and sweet fragrance that is intoxicating and highly romantic. It helps bring balance and harmony with stimulating and uplifting properties that create a sense of well-being and self-confidence. Used for skin care for thousands of years, it is perfect for dry or aging skin.
You’ll find Rose Oil as an ingredient in Young Living’s skin care products as well as a surprising number of oil blends and other products.
