Backorder Surprise
At the beginning of the month, I ordered a fresh box of Slique Tea (I haven’t told you about this yet, but it’s tasty). I still have a box on hand, but I know things tend to go out of stock when I want them most, so I plan ahead. Sure enough, after I hit send on my order but before they shipped it, my tea went out of stock. Or rather, it wasn’t listed as out of stock, but I got a notice in my shipment that it would be arriving separately for some reason.
It shipped last week and arrived with my hold mail on Monday (we were out of town). I was surprised to find a bottle of Slique Essenencein the box with my tea. The I pulled out the yellow card included with the packing slip. It reads:
We’ve been deeply impressed at the support for the Slique in 60 challenge! It’s amazing to see so many people on this journey to whole-life wellness. However, due to the increased interest in the Slique line, our inventory of Slique Tea has dipped. As a result, we have held your order of a Slique Pack due to the shortage of Slique Tea. We have an included and extra Slique Essence at no cost to show our appreciation for your order and to thank you for your added patience while having to wait for your order to be shipped.
We’re working as fast as we can to ensure that we have the needed inventory to support all future orders that include Slique Tea.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused!
Slique Essence’s wholesale price is $26 — more than the price of the tea. Stay tuned for my posts on these two products which will appear in the near future, but I wanted to share the generosity of this company while it was fresh in my mind.
