Guess What’s New at Young Living!
Last week Young Living held its annual International Grand Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. One of the most anticipated aspects of the convention is the new product reveal, rumored to have been 70 products! Well, it was at least 70 products, and these are going to thrill a few people.
Young Living now has sunscreen, aftersun, and insect repellent products. These are OTC (Over The Counter), and we don’t have to concoct our own blends and speak awkwardly about what they do. These are approved for us to address straightforwardly. The insect repellent is still awaiting EPA approval to ship to nine states and the District of Columbia, but that is anticipated soon.
Super Cal Plus, a calcium magnesium supplement was introduced as well as AminoWise, an amino acid supplement with a three-fold purpose. The Muscle Performance blend aids muscle building and repair, the Recovery blend helps reduce muscle fatigue, and the Hydration Mineral blend replenishes important minerals lost during exercise.
Shutran 3-in-1 Men’s Body Wash is the latest product expanding the men’s personal care line. It’s a shampoo, body wash, and face wash. Available in 3 oz travel size and 8 oz full size. It’s so popular it’s out of stock already. It’ll be back soon.
A gorgeous new diffuser is now available.
That covers the smaller single additions. Two new huge product lines were unveiled. The first was the Seedlings line.
Seedlings is a gentle line of products designed specifically for babies. Babies are most suspectible to bioaccumulation — the absorption of chemicals through the skin or other body organs and retention in the body. These products are designed to minimize the early build up of chemicals obtained from personal care products by reducing a baby’s exposure to them. This line consists of baby oil, baby wipes, baby lotion, baby wash, and diaper rash cream (OTC). That’s not a huge number of products but the impact upon a baby’s quality of life is huge.
And the jaw-dropping reveal was the new Savvy Mineral makeup line of products. Young Living purchased Melissa Poepping’s line of mineral makeup products, and it’s now available under the Savvy Mineral brand. The introductory line includes foundation, blush, bronzer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, lipstick, lip gloss, and a very desirable brush set made in Italy (it went Out of Stock in less than a day). More products are planned for release, but this initial offering is impressive! If you’ve been looking for a “safe” line of makeup, Young Living has an answer for you.
In the photo above, the shades of lipstick on Samantha’s hand are displayed in the order they are shown on the chart (upper left corner). Since it may be challenging to read, they are, left to right: On A Whim, Daydream, Wish, and Uptown Girl.
That’s a brief overview of what’s new, and it’s pretty exciting. I’ll be detailing each of these products over the coming weeks (months?), so stay tuned.
