Stress Away
Who doesn’t have stress in their lives? Stress Away Essential Oil won’t keep stress out of your life, but it may help you respond to it more effectively. This Premium Starter Kit (PSK) essential is a winner. It comes in 5 ml (in the PSK and Everyday Essential Oils Collection) and 15 ml bottles and a convenient 10ml roll-on (I absolutely love the roll-on packaging). I sometimes feel silly about the way I feel about the packaging of many of Young Living’s products, but so much is just so elegant. It’s a small way to feel pampered.
Enough about the way I feel about this product. What are the details?
Here’s what Young Living has to say about it: Stress Away™ is the first product to contain the unique combination of Lime and Vanilla pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils. With an aroma that is the perfect blend of tropical and citrus, Stress Away is uniquely relaxing and comforting.
How do you use it?
Topical: Shake well and apply generously on wrists or back of neck as desired.
Aromatic: Diffuse up to 1 hour 3 times daily.
Caution: Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a health professional prior to use. Avoid direct sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after applying the product.
You’ll see this warning about direct sunlight or UV rays for any product containing citrus oils. Citrus oils make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and UV rays, so be careful with them.
What’s in it?
Copaiba (Copaifera reticulata), Lime (Citrus aurantifolia), Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica), Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia), Ocotea (Ocotea quixos), Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
I’ll be talking about several of these single oils a little later, so stay tuned. Copaiba is one of my favorites. I can’t tell you how many people simply love Lavender. As a personal anecdote, when I diffuse Stress Away, my cats tend to get quite mellow. Caution: Always ensure your pets can leave the room when diffusing oils — if they like it, they will stay. If they don’t, they need to be able to leave.
